His research covers competitiveness, inclusive growth, strategic alliances/joint ventures and MSMEs, and he teaches managerial economics, international economics, strategic management and global competitiveness. He currently serves as Area Chair for Finance, Economics & Strategy.

PhD from IIT Bombay. Her work spans psychological contracts, workplace bullying, leadership and work engagement, and she has been recognised among Stanford's top-2% researchers worldwide along with several best-teacher and best-researcher awards.

PhD and M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and a B.E. (Mechanical, Hons.) from Utkal University. Research areas include multimodal logistics, reverse logistics, waste management, lean manufacturing, and system-dynamics simulation with optimisation and MCDM techniques. He is a former Dean (Academics) of the institute.

PhD in Economics from IIT Bombay (2010). His research focuses on energy transition and energy poverty, sustainable and multi-modal urban mobility, climate-smart agriculture, and environmental valuation using discrete choice experiments; he teaches managerial and macroeconomics, environmental and natural-resource economics, and the economics of renewable energy.

B.Tech (Mechanical), MBA (Operations & Marketing) and a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Research covers global procurement, supply-chain disruptions and resilience, dual-channel supply chains, retail price dynamics, revenue management and game theory.

A gold-medallist MA in Industrial & Organisational Psychology and a PhD in Commerce, and a certified Transactional Analysis practitioner. His research and teaching centre on communication, ethics and ethical behaviour, transactional analysis, human behaviour and personality, and the Bhagavad Gita.

Research areas are supply-chain optimisation, sustainable operations, modelling and policy analysis, and multi-objective optimisation; he teaches operations research, logistics & SCM, system dynamics and machine learning.

Completed her PhD at IIM Mumbai in 2025 and an M.Tech in Computer Science & Data Processing at IIT Kharagpur, and worked in IIM Mumbai's Data Science Lab. Her expertise is in operations research, data science, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and large language models.

Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management and Dean of Sponsored Research & Industrial Consultancy at IIM Mumbai, with 14+ years at the institute. His work spans SME sustainability and international competitiveness, retail customer analytics, and last-mile logistics, and he leads executive programmes in operations and supply-chain leadership.

She holds a PhD from SNDT Women's University (JBIMS, Mumbai) and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a Cost & Works Accountant (CWA), with an M.Phil from Alagappa University. Her research focuses on microfinance institutions and mission drift, digital financial inclusion, sustainable packaging in supply chains, and firms' dividend and financing decisions, with work in journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research and Journal of Cleaner Production. She coordinates the PGPEX-VLFM programme and serves as Professor-in-charge of Alumni Affairs.

He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering, and a PhD from IIT Kharagpur. His research and teaching centre on manufacturing operations, manufacturing system design, simulation modelling and industrial ergonomics. He is also active in the institute's ergonomics and design work, including its Asian Conference on Ergonomics and Design.

Shri Sitaram Kunte is a retired IAS officer with more than three decades of leadership across state administration, urban governance and public policy. He served as Chief Secretary of Maharashtra in 2021 and earlier held senior roles including Additional Chief Secretary for Home, General Administration and Higher & Technical Education; Principal Secretary in Housing, Planning, Finance and Environment; Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai; and Vice President & CEO of MHADA. His academic background includes Economics, Law and Public Policy, with studies at Delhi University, Mumbai University, the University of Birmingham and Syracuse University

Shri Durga Shankar Mishra is a retired 1984-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served as Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh from December 2021 to June 2024. Before this, he was Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, and Chairman of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Across his career he handled major responsibilities spanning urban development, mines, home affairs, personnel, health, taxation and district administration. He is an IIT Kanpur alumnus and has pursued advanced studies in management and public policy.

Shri Arun Goyal is a retired 1985-batch IAS officer with around four decades of experience across the Central Government, states and Union Territories. He served as Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat, where his responsibilities included high-level inter-ministerial coordination and dispute resolution. He has also served as Member of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and held senior responsibilities connected with the GST Council, power, finance, commerce and public policy. He is an electrical engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering and an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, with further postgraduate study in economics and development management.

Shri Amrit Lal Meena is a retired 1989-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He served as Chief Secretary of Bihar until August 2025 and previously as Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India. Before taking charge as Coal Secretary, he was Special Secretary (Logistics) in the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. His career therefore spans state administration, infrastructure, industrial policy, logistics and a strategically important energy sector.

Shri Deepak Shetty is a retired Indian Revenue Service officer from the Customs & Central Excise stream and a former Secretary to the Government of India and Director General of Shipping. His civil-service career spanned more than 36 years, with deep exposure to maritime administration, trade, customs and regulation. IIM Mumbai appointed him Visiting Distinguished Professor with areas of coverage including maritime policy, shipping, logistics, governance and maritime trade. He has also remained engaged with the maritime ecosystem in advisory and governance roles.

Prof. Madhu Ranjan Kumar is a retired Indian Railway Stores Service officer and Visiting Professor at IIM Mumbai in the Operations & Supply Chain Management area. His academic qualifications include a B.Tech from IIT (BHU), an MBA from MDI Gurgaon and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Southern Cross University, Australia. His professional and academic work spans public procurement, supply chain management, materials management, contracts, total quality management and organisational transformation.

Dr. Tirthankar Patnaik is Chief Economist at the National Stock Exchange of India. He has more than two decades of experience across Indian capital markets, macroeconomic and sector strategy, quantitative finance, academic research and consumer banking. He began his career in research at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and subsequently worked in consumer banking analytics and financial-market research before taking senior economist roles in the capital-markets ecosystem.
